Prerequisite: ENGL 102 or ENGL 105. Study and practice of news-writing and reporting techniques for routine news stories, including story organization, writing story leads, and the elements of hard news and feature journalism. Note: Approved for the Arts and Sciences upper-level requirement in written communication (WR).
